"Floating game-developer art-type heads"

Caricatures of the art team--a poster made as a going away present for our manager. Done in about a day and a morning. Probably the most fun (and challenging) "non-project" I've had in a while...

"The other Mr. Smith"

A little bit of editorial illustration...

From Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities:
More development on Octavia, the city made of rope. The first two images are of the "heart", necessary for the constant rebuilding of a decaying city. "Pods" connect to the heart and simultaneously act as workplaces and living quarters.

"I'm thumbody!"

SJSU, Circa 2003. I dug up this old blue sketchbook in which I covered the back pages with thumbprints (inked with Crayola markers,of course--only the best!). Then I passed it on to friends, colleagues, teachers and had them pick a print and draw whatever they wanted in it. Sort of a makeshift yearbook.

See if you recognize anyone...

(P.S. Thanks for the title, Char!)
Don't ask

Well...it started out as a scribble...

"Hodgepodge 101"

A whole lot of random stuff. Bear with me.

Written at bottom: "One of the best ways to draw is to be stranded . . .or have your car serviced."

The one and only Boogie . . .

Just a bit concept stuff for a personal project I'm working on. More of this to come . . .

My dad watching "Speed" on the spanish channel and my mom knitting--think there's any relation to the handiwork?

1st weekday of Daylight Savings...daylight is good.

"So a duck, a skeleton, and Han Solo walk into a bar..."

Yup, the blog bug bit me. I've jumped on the bandwagon, because this is the one to be jumping on.

Good or bad, it's for all to be seen...no excuses.
